Since its inception, our team has run 5 training cohorts through the Generation G workforce development program. 25 individuals have been trained in Green Construction, 14 have been placed in permanent employment in the construction field, and 8 have been trained, mentored and supported in entrepreneurship and currently are working as general contractors in the City of Detroit. Each of these individuals has been a Detroit resident, a minority, and several of Generation G trainees have been returning citizens. ​Rebound Community Development and its umbrella organizations possess the expertise to advance minority entrepreneurship and promote inclusive talent pipelines in a specialized area of the skilled trades.Rebound CDC has a community mission that includes restoring dilapidated properties, reusing vacant land for new development and implementing green sustainable ideas that promote social cohesion and personal investment in the community. Seeing a need for energetic, nonprofit work in this area, we formed our organization to provide sensible solutions. We've consistently grown since then, all thanks to the helping hands of this amazing community!

Our members and volunteers provide the momentum that helps us affect change. Using data driven models, we provide solutions that make a long-lasting difference.  We have help several populations achieve success through entrepreneurship and skill trades, the chronically homeless, former drug abusers and returning citizens. donations
